Tuesday talk

Excuse my tardiness on sending this September talk at the end of the month.

This has been a busy month for me! But, I still feel a need to post this.

September has been designated Suicide Prevention Awareness.

Be that friend that helps someone in distress.

Refrain from being judgmental.

Don’t lecture.

Acknowledge feelings. Be empathetic, patient, and compassionate.

Suicide is complicated, it’s tragic. It affects all genders, ages, and ethnicities anyone can be at risk.

Connect with 988 or 988lifeline.org Suicide and Crisis Lifeline if you are experiencing or know someone struggling with mental health distress.

Thank you for taking out the time to read this post.

advice

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

My best piece of advice received has to be, be true to yourself.

Regardless of others, do your best to stay true to yourself. Make your own choices, so, when you look in the mirror you feel good about the person gazing back at you!

Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.

Just be you, I’ll be me, and we will meet somewhere in the middle.

Do your thing, don’t worry about anyone liking it.

AND STILL, I RISE!! 😌

Dear self,

Remember to slow down and enjoy the journey.

You don’t have to constantly hustle.

The fact that you are trying your best everyday is enough.

It will get better, and pay off in the end.

Be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you.

Be gentle with self.

Love, me

for self

Sometimes self needs a pep talk🫣

Running & Walking 👟

What things give you energy?

Running & Walking gives me great energy & peace.

Nothing like a good run in the mornings to get your body moving and clear the mind.

Walking also clears your mind, gets your blood moving and lifts your spirits.

Running & Walking are a man’s best medicine.

Find your energy & peace and hold tight. It’s necessary. 😊
