Self care/Self love

How do you practice self-care?

I always take out time of myself, during the early mornings while the house is quite & the dog is sleep. Lol

While living this life of mine, I’m going to let it shine. ✨All I want at this age is peace, no toxic environments and happiness.

I love early morning meditation it helps me find peace along with my favorite candle and homemade iced caramel coffee. Now I’m ready to enjoy some blogging and journaling. 🥰

Embrace Change

Tips to Thrive With Transitions

Accept, Reflect, and Trust

The sooner we accept it, the less we resit.

Reflect, on your past experiences. Big or small you will get through them.

Trust yourself, you got this. Look at you now, still breathing and you are alive.

No matter what it is, try to embrace change and find meaning in it. Change is something I think everyone struggles with at one point or another.

Change can be uncomfortable but, sometimes it’s necessary. It’s the only thing that’s going to continuously happen in our lives.

To embrace change is tough, but give it time. Everyone has to make adjustments at some point.

2020 When COVID-19 first hit the world was really in a uproar, not knowing what to do? How long will it last? What is this? Where did it come from? And the masks… why? how long? when do I wear it? Look at everyone now making it happen for the better.

Society is taking baby steps, bounding back slowly.

📝This post hit me a little different it’s personal. I’m struggling with change (retirement). At times I’m calm, emotional & happy all at the same time. I’m looking forward to retirement but there’s still questions and emotions. GOD has me covered with whatever I decide. I’m leaving everything in his hands he has the last say.

Childhood

Which food, when you eat it, instantly transports you to childhood?

1. 🫘 Beans of all kind

2. Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches

3. Mac & cheese

Baked beans, red beans, pinto beans served over rice with cut up sausages.

Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches were the best and still is.

Nothing like a warm bowl of Mac & Cheese.
