My mother said hello to everyone we met strangers especially. Drove me crazy until she informed me she said hello because she is not the only human on earth and neither am I. I now say hello to everyone I meet and strangers especially. I see the smiles my mother saw. Some pets need to be petted.

Rude people! That includes people who ask you a question then proceed to interrupt you while you attempt to answer them. I usually just walk away from them at that point.
