While praying tonight I asked God,

Why do you continue to bless me?

He replied so you can continue to be a blessing to others.

Sometimes you have a lot to ask or say but, sometimes you have to humble yourself.

AND

Trust GOD!

There are times, in life when we get so caught up and everything having to be perfect that we lose sight of the things in our lives that really matter.

It takes courage to let go of our desire of everything being perfect.

Let go and surrender your perfectionism.

Question:

Are you missing out on having peace or time spent with family? as a result of perfectionism? 🤨

It’s very important to give ourselves permission to make mistakes.

Mistakes are going to happen, choose to learn from them.

Embrace being perfectly imperfect. Learn from your mistakes and forgive yourself.

And move on.

Why do people self sabotage?

There are many theories about why people self sabotage.

Some people do it, because they are afraid they may feel like they’re not good enough or I don’t deserve it.

Others may sabotage themselves because they’re in a bad situation or may have self esteem issues, or maybe be on a job they don’t like.

Some people do it to punish themselves, others do it because they’re addicted to drama.

Whatever the reason underlying emotional issue usually need to be addressed to stop self sabotage behavior.

It can prevent someone from exceeding goals, pursuing dreams and living their best life.

So what is self sabotaging? 🧐

self sabotaging behavior can take many different forms, but it’s usually fear.

We might be afraid of failure or success, or maybe change.

You may be fearful of being rejected or being alone. Fear is often at the root of self sabotage.

A few examples of self sabotaging

1. overthinking

3. overworking procrastination

If you are doing any of the three, ask yourself, what am I terrified of? 🤔

Try taking a deep breath, then take the first step by walking away and giving it some thought.

You might be surprised at what you’re capable of achieving.

Eating Healthier!

Three years ago, I began my health journey. My metabolism wasn’t what it once was and I knew I needed to make a change. So, I decided to start eating better cutting out some food and eating less of others.

I don’t follow a diet! Just healthy eating!

A few items I eat less of bread, chips, pastas, red meat. No processed food or boxed food. NO soda.

I drink plenty of water. Lemon & mint water also.

During my journey I have more energy, and rarely crave sugar. And my digestion improved.

Hopefully my health journey will help someone that may be struggling. Small steps can help you also, start your journey today.
